This park is located roughly six miles east of Alexandria Bay, NY. There are 108 campsites in total at this park, a boat launch and a swimming beach. Open from the first Saturday in May until Columbus Day.

Cedar Island State Park is found roughly 15 miles northwest of Gouverneur, NY in Chippewa Bay. The park takes up half of the island and offers visitors a chance to boat, camp and fish surrounded by the stunning scenery of New York State. Accessible only by boat, people can get there from the public boat launches in the Village of Chippewa Bay, which also offers boat rental.
