    Located inside a heritage house, the Gouverneur Museum contains antiques, clothing and period decorations from the late 19th and early 20th century.     Silas Wright Museum

    Canton's Silas Wright House is home to the St. Lawrence County Historical Society and a local museum. Dating back to 1833, the house now contains period furnishings throughout the rooms. The building belonged to former senator Silas Wright, after who it is now named. Guests can tour the home started at 12pm from Tuesday through Saturday.
